Section 01
Purpose of Our Services
Raha Rituals provides massage and wellness treatments for relaxation, comfort, stress reduction, relief of muscular tension, and general wellbeing. If you experience pain, discomfort, dizziness, shortness of breath, unusual sensitivity, or any other concern during the service, tell your therapist immediately so the pressure, technique, product, or treatment can be adjusted or stopped.
- All treatments are delivered by certified, Bali-trained therapists at your home, hotel, or residence.
- By booking through our website, WhatsApp, phone, or any Raha channel, you accept this policy in full.
- This policy applies together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Section 02
Medical Disclaimer
Raha Rituals services are not medical services. Our therapists are experienced, certified massage professionals — they do not diagnose illness or disease, prescribe medication, provide physiotherapy, or replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Guests with medical conditions, injuries, pregnancy, recent surgery, skin conditions, allergies, chronic illness, or any health concern should consult a licensed medical professional before booking.
- If you are unsure whether a treatment is suitable for you, obtain medical approval before proceeding.
Section 03
Age & Supervision
Guests must be 18 years or older to book and receive a treatment independently. Guests under 18 may only receive an eligible service if it is booked by a parent or legal guardian who remains present at the location throughout the treatment. Raha may decline or stop a service if suitable supervision is not provided.
- Some treatments may not be suitable for minors, elderly guests, or guests with particular health conditions.
- We may request additional information before confirming such bookings.
Section 04
Health Disclosure & Contraindications
Please disclose all relevant health conditions, medications, allergies, injuries, recent procedures, and special requirements before your appointment. This helps us confirm the treatment is suitable and lets your therapist adapt it safely. Massage may not be recommended with fever or acute infection, blood clots, uncontrolled heart conditions or hypertension, fractures, open wounds or skin infection, or active serious illness unless medically approved.
- Not recommended: fever above 38.5°C, contagious illness, deep vein thrombosis or clotting history, severe osteoporosis or recent fractures, uncontrolled heart disease, hypertension or diabetes, inflamed or infected skin, recent surgical wounds.
- Caution or medical approval may be needed for pregnancy, postnatal recovery, reduced mobility, varicose veins or circulation concerns, blood thinners, implants or recent cosmetic procedures.
- For your safety, the therapist may modify pressure or technique, avoid specific areas, reschedule, or decline a treatment that appears unsuitable.
Section 05
Pregnancy & Prenatal Care
Expecting mothers are welcome to book our Mom-to-Be prenatal ritual, which is designed specifically for pregnancy with gentle positioning, adjusted pressure, and suitable techniques. Other treatments may not be suitable during pregnancy — please tell us how far along you are when booking so we can guide you to the right ritual.
- Prenatal treatments are generally recommended after the first trimester; please obtain your doctor's approval before booking.
- Postnatal guests should allow adequate recovery time and seek medical clearance, particularly after a caesarean delivery.
Section 06
Product Allergies & Sensitivities
Please inform us or your therapist before the treatment begins if you have any allergy or sensitivity to massage oils, essential oils, fragrances, creams, lotions, towels, detergents, latex, or any other product that may be used during your ritual. We will accommodate reasonable product requests where possible.
- If you have sensitive skin or are trying a product for the first time, you may request a patch test ahead of your appointment.
- Guests with severe allergies should obtain medical advice before booking; Raha cannot be responsible for reactions arising from undisclosed allergies.
Section 07
A Safe & Suitable Treatment Space
Please provide a clean, private, safe space with enough room for the portable treatment bed, your therapist's equipment, and comfortable movement, with reasonable lighting and ventilation. Children, pets, and other guests should not disturb the treatment area, and delicate or breakable items should be moved aside before we arrive.
- Raha may decline, reschedule, or stop a service if the location is unsafe, unhygienic, or otherwise unsuitable for a professional treatment.
- Ensure building, community, or hotel security allows external therapists to enter; access issues caused by guest-side restrictions may be treated under the cancellation policy.
Section 08
Draping & Personal Privacy
Your privacy is respected at every moment. Underwear must be worn at all times during body treatments, and your therapist will use professional towel draping, uncovering only the area being worked on. Any request to remove draping or step outside professional boundaries will end the treatment immediately.
- Our all-female therapist team is available for guests who prefer a female therapist.
- You may ask at any time for pressure, coverage, or technique to be adjusted to your comfort.
Section 09
Hygiene & Infection Control
Every Raha ritual is delivered with fresh linens, sanitised equipment, and strict hand-hygiene between guests. Please do not proceed with a treatment if you have a fever, contagious illness, skin infection, open wounds, active rash, vomiting, or severe cough — we will happily reschedule.
- Therapists follow daily wellness checks and will not attend a booking while unwell.
- The therapist may decline or stop a service if a health or hygiene risk becomes apparent at the location.
Section 10
Professional Conduct & Zero Tolerance
Raha Rituals maintains a strictly professional wellness environment. Guests must behave respectfully toward therapists at all times. If any inappropriate behaviour occurs, the therapist may stop the service immediately and leave the premises; Raha may withhold any refund, refuse future bookings, and report the matter to the relevant authorities under UAE law.
- Strictly prohibited: sexual remarks, advances, requests, or suggestive behaviour; verbal, physical, or personal harassment; threats, intimidation, or abusive language.
- Also prohibited: intoxication, drug use, or requests for services outside the professional treatment booked.
Section 11
Readiness, Access & Timing
Please be ready at your confirmed appointment time with the correct address details — building or villa name, apartment or room number, floor, parking, and any security instructions. If you are running late, tell us immediately on WhatsApp or by phone; because therapists have scheduled appointments, a late start may shorten the treatment, which may still need to finish at the scheduled end time.
- If your therapist is delayed by traffic, parking, or building access, we will keep you informed and provide the full booked duration wherever possible.
- If the therapist cannot reach you or gain access after arrival, the booking may be treated as a late cancellation or no-show.
Section 12
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Once a booking is confirmed, a therapist's time and travel are reserved exclusively for you. Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refunds Policy — please refer to it for notice periods, fees, and refund handling.
- See the Cancellation & Refunds Policy for full details: /legal/refunds.
- Changes requested after the therapist has started travelling may be treated as a late cancellation.
Section 13
Recording & Photography
Guests must not photograph, video record, audio record, or live stream a therapist without prior written consent from Raha Rituals and the person being recorded. We keep booking, payment, and support records for operational, safety, quality, and legal purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Your personal and health information is handled under the Raha Rituals Privacy Policy: /legal/privacy.
Section 14
Liability & Assumption of Risk
By proceeding with a booking, you confirm that you have read and understood this policy, that you are in suitable health to receive the treatment, and that you have disclosed all relevant medical, allergy, medication, pregnancy, and injury information accurately. You are responsible for the accuracy of the health and location information you provide.
- Raha Rituals is not liable for adverse outcomes arising from undisclosed conditions, allergies, or inaccurate information.
- Nothing in this policy excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable UAE law.
Section 15
Questions & Concerns
If anything about your treatment causes concern — before, during, or after — please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours of your appointment, and we will review the matter with care.
